Laundry Room

Nate wants to put multiple shelves into our laundry room to excerside the cat and most importantly to keep the cat food away from the dogs. They might as well me eating $20 out of my wallets. So I came across this. What do you think? Our cat is fat so I dont think he needs that man stairs...And I love the little birds.

Baby Making Update

My period came!! I was so happy to see Aunt Flo. Atleast that is one less thing to worry about. But according to the ovulation kit I did not ovulate last month. But I am not worried about that.. they can fix that. So Jan start date was 1/25 and Feb was 2/24. According to the ovulation calculator my most fertile days are Tuesday, March 10, 2009 to Sunday, March 15, 2009. I will let you know what those damn pee things say! oh, and fingers crossed that Nate's boys will look picture perfect like the ones above.

Oscar Gowns 2009

I totally feel like Clinton and Stacy right now.
The Good

All four women look stunning. Freida Pinto (whoever that is) I am going to guess from the Slumdog movie..What a great choice and it reflects her heritage. Kate Winselt is my favorite. I love the unusualy necklines she has worn for this year showes. The color of Natilie Portman's dress is beautiful shade without washing her out.

Queen Latifah- You go Girl I love the neck line.

Miss Miley Cryus-yes it looks like artichoke leaves but I think she looks fab in it!

Marisa Tomei- Stunning as always. I love her hippy style.

The Very Bad

Beyonce- Come on girl! Look at your hips?

Heidi Klum- That runway show should be cancelled. Who are you to judge up and coming designers and you hit the red carpet in this?

Jessica Biehl- I think you left your napkin tucked into your dress

Anne Hathay & Evan Rachel Wood..please please try the tanning bed just a handful of times prior to the next award show. You looked washed out and hungry!

Dining Room Art

I had this frame laying around. I am going to paint it tomorrow...black of course. Then take get another one tomorrow..michaels 50% off...and my dining room will have art...can you hear the angels singing...i can!

Ethan's Future Footstool

THIS will look like THAT in a few weeks. E-Diddy sanded it this morning.

Coffee Table Still Under Construction

This one is still under construction. it will be finished tomorrow...same process as the smaller table but i used a red primer this time. you can see a few of the thrift store projects in the back..I will post those tomorrow...they are drying at this very moment

The Round End Table

Sand
Prime..ran out of primer used black spray paint on the bottom
Coat number 1

Final coat...i love it even more..I love the shape of this table

End Table #1

i used black gloss paint. We wanted a thicker paint because of the wear and tear and use the table will get. Again super duper easy. I did not over sand this time plus used the handy dandy electrical sander on some of it. I did use a spray paint primer this time. 2 coats and it looked great!

Kitchen Chair

how do i love these? let me count the ways...i love that they were free. i love the 40% off fabric. i love how easy it was to redo these chairs. We did it with black satin spray paint. I learned not to over sand. it burned for days. And then we sprayed it with a clear coat for protection. i can't wait to see the table done...ahhhh!

The Office Clean Up

For all my loyal fans out there (and you know who you are)..i have updated some of my at home projects. This is the office clean up project..all this "stuff' came out of my husbands office. The design plan was pretty simple....making it cool enough for him to like it.

Still needs curtains. Allso the lighter desk will be leaving for a work table. Then double monitors mounted to the wall over the black desk and one over the worktable.

We removed the doors and used it for storage. I like it.

We are going to put a dry/erase board to organize clients jobs.
Total time: 14 hours!!! no kidding

An old uninvited party but tons of inspritation

I am in the middle of spray painting/painting my living room tables and kitchen table. It is a learning process for me. The chairs came out GREAT. I love them and it motivates me to get the table done. The side table I finished a couple weeks back looks fab too. I just worked on the round side table not so good. So I am going to fix it tomorrow and I have decided to spray paint it.

Here is a link to an old spray painting party hosted by Josys of Home back in August 2008
